EU-SEC – Digital Single Market Cloud Stakeholder Meeting

The EU-SEC project recognises the importance of engaging stakeholders and communicating the importance of the project objectives. This is why members of the consortium attended the Cloud Stakeholder Meeting organised by the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium. The meeting was part of the NetFutures 2017 conference. This gathering brought together the broad collection of stakeholders and had several objectives:

• Examine the achievements made under the European Cloud Strategy

• Discuss how to best build on previous key deliverables in order to effectively address cloud-related opportunities and challenges

• Share experiences and discuss in an interactive manner the main workstreams needed to contribute to the development of a European cloud ecosystem

• Provide input for imminent EU policies in the context of the Digital Single Market.

The consortium will build on contacts made at this meeting to further engage stakeholders in the project.
